In the Deep Stacks Tourney - 217 players - 37 left - pay 27.

Blinds 200/400 I have been on the table for 5 hands so know nothing about the players. I was about 10th with loads of play left in the tourney meaning i did not need to take risks.

i personally push preflop. the KK definitely comes in too, the 10,10 should pass but you never know. if you call pre flop you're straight in on that flop and if you've been done by 7,7 or 9,9 it's the risk you've chosen to take by only calling preflop

bad fold i think mate

I agree with all in pre flop, never like to play aces with more than one other in the pot.

 But then as the flop comes out, i think the fold is ok, you could be up against a set and a straight or flush draw, your only 4k invested from a 30k stack. no need to go out here, ok you would have one, but the other hands set/draw/ are very possible. so not a bad fold in my book.

No point in pushing preflop, you should be comfortable playing a side pot with aces.  Also the blinds were unlikely to call its just a surprise that the small blind didn't reraise with his KK.  I would have called with AA after the flop betting though.

I call, but i dont re-raise AA.

You have 31k in chips, why on earth would you want to isolate all your action to pick up 4k!!!!

Get the suckers in when you have the nuts, dont play this passive defensive obsessed with getting it in when you are ahead, if you stack of to a set post flop then so be it.

I'd reraise the min amnount here, this way;

you look weaker ( I don't think youd call with AK)
KK still plays
smaller pockets may reraise
You are more likely to get more chips on a rag flop.

Given the preflop play given I'd still call though, there are too many overpairs available.

I don't mind the AA preflop limp, but I am more amazed that the kings didn't put some kind of a preflop reraise in with those in the pot before him. This would have given you a free chance to rereraise with added value in the pot. With the extra there I would then be all in preflop on AA for a healthy less risk chip increase.

With the bet and a raise in front of you on the flop, it is a difficult call but I think you should have made it. The only hand you are behind to at this stage is a set and I don't think a set raises all in here. The first bettor on the round into a dry pot is your concern, but I would be calling.
