Well I jammed. I wasn't raise/folding so kinda went with the Dawg's thinking. He had Jacks so I spose unless I raise/fold I'm losing the hand anyway.

Against Rudders in this spot, raise fold is ok I think.

Makes little odds really... shove or raise call...ur still coolered... just unlucky to find JJ in BB in BvB scenario... as stated shoving on live nits is + ev as they are folding AJ here...and no im not joking

@NigDawg: I don't mind playing a pot against a bad player OOP with a hand that's better than their range. If they're good and are gonna peel and try to ruin our lives then yeah I prefer a shove. Unexploitable vs good players and exploitative vs bad players as always. I know you like to 3bet call 35bbs with KJo vs fish so I know this is a concept you struggle with...

@the sicilian: If they're the kind of person folding AJ to a shove they'll also flat it pre and fold to a cbet the times when they miss. Pretty sure this is a better result for us on average, although I might be wrong.

Hand flop great against hands that peel and obviously you choose to ignore the fact that we double up a number of times post, where he peels and flops 2nd best but would fold to a jam pre.

So true, was playing the Super 50 and were on bubble stack 60K think blinds were 3k - 6K + Ante i'd maybe not raised enough from the button but when passed round to me i shoved J 8 and Small Blind stack around 50K passed Ace Jack.. (wtf) Maybe the fact that we were on the bubble made him pass or my image, but still shocked me.. Think i'm a bit of a nit but never passing there..

Hand flop great against hands that peel

this scenario really isn't my forte at all so perhaps shouldn't comment - but this sprung to my mind when i was reading the thread
