If you're a tight player, then most of the tournaments you exit are going to be via a bad beat.

Jaimo, if the software is conspiring against you, it is because you have not made the required sacrifices to Badbeatius - the poker god.
Gather together a deck of cards, four feet of tinsel and a jar of mango chutney. Tie the tinsel around your LEFT wrist (this is very important) and smear mango chutney over the sevens and the fours of the deck of cards. Eat these cards whilst hopping on your RIGHT foot (again, very important). Once done, return to your computer and tell it that you love it, like a man loves a woman.
This will appease Badbeatius and ensure that every single good hand you are ever dealt will always hold up.

Talking of bad beats, did you see the WPT on TV last night........after the flop one guy was 99.5% to win the hand.......the only 0.5% out, was runner runner 77....and he hit it.
I watched that - that was one amazing turn and river. Commentator said it was something like 224:1 shot and he hit it.
That was a great final table.
Nice to see some serious poker on TV for a change instead of the usual celeb repeats.

Welcome Jaimo,
Think of it this way, someone at some point had to build the software for the site, these programmers would know all about the set up of the software, i.e. if they have rigged it for the chip leaders etc, Now don’t you think the networks that purchase the software would have to kill the programmer, I mean they can’t leave him around to leak such important information, just one programmer leaving his job could bring down a huge poker site if this were true. So NO online poker is not rigged, Bad beat happen.
This too might help, I was watching phil hellmuth being interviewed after playing in a tournament, he said “ I’m very pleased with the way it went today, I only had all my chips in once today”.
Every time you are……. all in….. YOU have put your tournament on the line.

thanks everyone for the welcome and opinions, i guess i don't really believe that online poker is rigged, it's more something to say in the heat of the moment. It's just i sometimes analyse how i played and especially the hands in which i went out of a tourney, and i can't see how i could've played any differently, in my eyes i played it as well as it could have been yet i still find myself the losing party. I think its this lack of someone to blame that leads me to turn on the software itself.
Also im glad to hear cincin is a good place to play, I think i will be paying it a visit in the near future! And also I have seen that WPT with the running 7's, the guy looked shellshocked and who could blame him!
