is there any available info regarding this, aside from the results?
I dont know anything whatsoever about this tournament, apart from the name, and it would be great if there was some information about it.. ie
Tourney structure/players/buyin/payout etc
Maybe there is, and I have failed to notice it, if however, all this is being with-held before it goes on TV, that is respected
thanks in advance

From what little i know it was a €3k tv event, but done properly, decent structure etc. As for the players i believe it was the top UK circuit players. I am afraid thats about all i know.
From what i have head though we want more of the same.

10,000 starting chips, & 45 minute clock.
Some innovative filming techniques were used, never before seen on Poker shows, but it would be wrong to reveal them, you must wait for the show.
Who played? I don't have the names to hand. My heat included Jon Shoreman, Micky Wernick, Howard Plant, & Simon Aces Trumper.
Jim Reid played, Vinni, Matt Dale, but I really don't know who else.

Pushing my luck, do you (or anyone) happen to know who the commentators were/are?

No, I don't.
The commentary has yet to be added, that will be done in the editing suite shortly, I imagine.
"I Know It" may be able to assist, he is involved with the organisation.
It's a bit awkward, we were all asked not to give away anything, but that was largely results-wise.
