I would lighten the site a little - overall the site is fine and the changes improved the look alot especially the main site.

Very positive - you have seen massive growth, the boards were to small.  The main site now contains alot more info, but offers an alternative format to the forum, to see that information.

(12) Would you use a weekly poll located on the homepage which asked various questions? (eg, Which of the following is your favourite poker book?)

Would prefer to see the poll on the forum - with Blonde members prefer this book and a review on the main site.

(13) What would you like to see the site offer that it doesn’t currently have?

Better links with casino/clubs - the results/upcoming seems very hit and miss
(I know you cannot display info you don't have)

(14) How would you feel if blonde were to get rid of the site altogether, just leaving the cardroom and the forum? Would you miss it at all?

I would miss the blog's, and snoops and tanks articles as well as the upcoming events that are advertised.

Why don't my smiely faces/bold/underline etc work (smileys work if I type them)
Please get Sark to write a Sark world column - dont care if it poker based (pay him my rake if necessary)

Howdy all. It’s been a couple of months now (I think) since the blonde site was relaunched. It’s been a lot of hard work, but I, and all the other contributors for that matter, have thoroughly enjoyed offering our services. I sincerely hope that people have enjoyed the site and the content provided.

However, to move forward, it is sometimes necessary to obtain the thoughts of its users, many of whom utilise this very forum. Therefore, I’d be highly appreciative if you could take a few minutes of your time to answer the following questions. The feedback would be welcomed with open arms, and I’d be forever at your mercy (well, okay, that last bit was a lie).

I think you should promote the shop a bit more, its revenue for you.

I like it on the whole, although I think the front home page needs tweaking, the grey margins on each side seem like a waste of space, & Blondepoker logo IMO should be at the top.

Some interesting answers here.

First off, the blogs seem to be especially popular, so I'm going to try and find a better way to present them. At the moment, they're kind of hidden in the menu bar, but there really is some great stuff in there that is crying out to be brought more to the forefront of the site.

Nope, I'd never be offended if you didn't have it as your homepage. Please don't worry about being critical or speaking negatively here guys. Have to be honest and sometimes brutal to move forward.

Where to play section... I'm considering adding a section to this on hotels. Apologies to whoever suggested this to me. I've forgotten who it was so can't credit them. Anyhow, it's going to have all hotel details surrounding the various casinos. Would you guys find that useful? A google map feature is also being mulled over.

Interesting that you mentioned the grey margins in the design. I'm looking to add the banner onto the forum (as suggested by Nemesis). However, the forum is wider, so the banner needs to be lengthened. This will offer an extra menu option, whilst also making the main site wider, therebye shortening the margins. I too think it's a waste of space, and I also think a thinner banner will mean people don't have to scroll down as much.

Interviews... Yes, I've tried to bump this up a bit. Hence, the JP interview. I've purchased a dictophone, so hopefully more to come.

When you first launch your browser, the homepage is the first page that crops up. If you so wish, you can set blondepoker.com as that page by selecting 'set as homepage' in the 'home' section of the menu just underneath the main banner. (This currently only works if you use Internet Explorer, but if you have Firefox (as I do), then I believe you can do it via tools - options in the menu bar at the top) -- can some1 confirm that?

Its ok.. the news seems as though it follows the flow, rather then setting its own standards.. take the latest story on Hellmuth vs Filmaff as an example... its been known for weeks.

get a radio show.. Q & A with Tikay and Sark.. week-nights at 8pm til 10pm.. would be an instant hit! Other then that, make the most of your assets. Camtasia lets you record your screen, so get Blondie or other top players to record mtt's/cash game sesssions/SNG's and let people exchange AP's or pay to see them/offer them to the members. Its something that has value, is cheap to produce, and would be really in demand (especially if you sign up more top players)
