I usually can't stand Jim Carrey but I do like the Truman Show - it's pretty cheap to pick up on DVD

I think Fight Club and Seven stand up with 12 Monkeys.

Jim Carrey is unlikely ever to surpass Truman, though.

The acting in Seven was particularly good, from both Pitt and Freeman; it's a shame thrillers don't usually get the credit they deserve.

The screenplay was one of the best of the decade, and everyone involved acted the hell out of those parts.

I think JC surpassed truman long before he made it, with the rather disturbing "Cable Guy".
