I forgot to put this pic up yesterday of Elky (still in) and Matt Tyler (still in the cash game).  It's rather nice.

Phil 'bullet dodger' Hellmuth is on one of his rants.

Phil raised preflop to 16k, and Christer Johannsen.

I didn't quite catch what he was moaning about, but something to do with his hand being 'dead'.

Christer must have had his cards on the line or something, but, either way, Hellmuth was in full tantrum mode.

Strangely, Phil opted for a fold.

Some counts, not including Padraig whom I am afraid I can't see...

Ramzi Jelassi       48,000 (up)
Frode Fagerli      60,000 (down)
Joe Beevers       78,000 (up)
Vanessa Rousso  48,000 (up)
Andreas Hagen   52,000 (up)
Jani Sointula      100,000 (up)
Phil Hellmuth       75,000 (down)

I don't usually remember how people's chips compare to their earlier chips, but since I've used the same ratty bit of paper for about 3 hours I can give you that thrilling extra detail.

Sry, buddy, but Rory's a gonna.

Now sit back, you may need to brace yourself for this one...

Padraig, I hear, has quit drinking.

Spot any non-movers in the charts pop-pickers?  Cool

padraig quits drinking every year from january until after the world series main event. He then spends the rest of the year legless.

Phil Hellmuth has moved into fifth gear thanks to a timely double up.

On a board of Two Diamonds , a local fellow (pictured below) bets 8k, to which Phil responds with a 16k reraise.

Local fellow announces all-in, and Phil, practically jumping out of his skin, checks his cards saying, 'hold on one second, I think I have the nuts,' before finally making the inevitable call.

Phil confidentally shows the , whilst Mateyboy reluctantly flips pocket aces.

The river is academic, and Phil doubles up to 120k, maintaining that strange determined look that he seems to wear when he gets down to the nitty gritty.

And his opponent? Well, I think the expression on his face below speaks volumes.

-- Oh yeah, and before I forget, Jani S raises from the button the very next hand and Phil, still stacking his chips, raises to 17k from the small blind.

Phil's on a roll...

gulp

could be a loud evening.

Ramzi Jelassi, who came 2nd in Helsinki last week, is OUT.

Mateyboy raised underthegun, there was a flat-call, which triggered Ramzi into pushing 42k in with his pocket sixes, hoping that the original raiser had a foldable hand, or perhaps A-K, A-Q.

Unforunately, he had jacks, called, and, with no six hitting the board, took down the pot.
