Have you noticed it...?

Top right of every thread and on the forum Index just under the rogues gallery of blonde's good, bad, ugly and jen!

A small news box full of latest information, congratulations to those who win comps etc. Even Colchester Kev, though I suppose we'll clear the box the day THAT ever happens again.

Each day we'll update the box with clickable links showing you the latest articles, blogs, quizzes and captions on the Main site home page for your ease of use.

Ten seconds of your time when you visit blonde is all that it will take to point you in the right direction for your reading pleasure......

How come the Devilfish book costs £4 more than amazon is selling it for and is being touted as a discount?

Good question, its free postage and packaging on snoopy's offer.

As for the differential price with Amazon, dunno.

Good write up tight end.

I have attended a few of these festivals now, usually after satteliting into the main event so the weeks i go are not that expensive for me.

However i see lots of the same faces but only a few consistently making nice cashes and it makes u think who actually makes a good living from the UK tournament circuit. During my week in walsall i heard several conversations about mr x oweing money etc.. and mr x took a few different forms and players i had heard of. As much as i enjoy live poker i dont see the festival circuit becoming a fixture in my calendar as i cannot justify it finacially

We can't compete with Amazon's muscle, & don't really want to. The idea is that any profit we generate goes towards the cost of running blonde & providing Live Updates, which are free, & many people enjoy.

I don't believe Amazon do Live Updates.

But it's kind of you to point out that they are cheaper than us.

It looks like JK Rowling and Dan Brown are doing a deal after knocking out the short stacked Bible.

Can you re-buy in Paperback? (there's a decent pun to be had somewhere, I'm sure of it)

My problem with offers like this is that:

"Visa, Mastercard, or Amex" seem to be the only methods of payment (apart from snail mail) and I dont bother with credit cards.. and I dont fancy waiting an eon for cheques to clear.

All i have is a natwest debit card (maybe this is usable, but it seems like it isn't)

Is there a chance that in future, you could consider expanding the payment options to include those of us that dont use credit cards? if so, I would definately buy from here rather then amazon, as saving £3 isn't something that matters in my life, and if it goes to blonde, even better

thanks a lot
