Recently, I've started playing a lot more 6pak 20 NLHE tables with a decent profit, which got me wondering where most people on here make their money.

Omaha Hi-Lo cash for me.

Is it true that's it's probably the easiest to make profit in, if you reckoned you were a moderately skilled player?

Apparantly so.

The idea is that the fish will dump his money quicker and the gap between above average and pro players is more marginal than in other forms of poker.

I only play MTT's as it best suits my style of play, the only site i play on is Pokerstars as there is a wide range of good tournaments available at any time i wish to play and also because the software is much better than most other sites. I've heard people tell me that the competition is much harder but i find that better suits my game - i find it easier to read people and understand what they are doing and why they are doing it if they know what they are doing. how can i work out what a newbie is doing if they dont know themselves.....

My most profitable tourneys are probably the $50 and $100 rebuys they have in the evening and have had a couple of good results in the $300 f/out they run on a saturday.

I would say that i easily make more money playing mtt's but they are big hits when they come. STT's are the bread and butter though. Smiley

I suppose it could also have been phrased 'where do you lose least of your money...'

For sheer numbers, and numbers of morons, you cannot beat Party's cash games from around $3 - $6 NL and $5 - $10 NL. Ok so the software is horrible, bordering on painful, but then so is the play. UB and Stars, although a lot slicker, have much tougher opposition.
