Thanks for posting all those pics - makes my somewhat blurry memory snap more into focus.
Fantastic whirlwind trip, would do it again in an instant. Great hosts and everyone took to the charity rebuy with total crazy abandon. One of the most fun poker trips I've been on - thanks to Flushy for putting up with his team-mates supporting Luckyblind and being such a good sport the whole weekend. Great to meet those whom I have only known through their reputation...

I am sure what Flushy meant to say is 'You would have almost certainly been an automatic selection and we apologise for the clash with the Aruba event, however as you are well aware whatever date we chose there will be some sort of clash. The date for the FOUR NATIONS has been set and announced very shortly, hopefully you will be available to be considered for selection to the England squad. It was mentioned several times over the weekend that people consider you a future TeamGB captain (but dont tell Flushy).'

There will be definitely at least three qualifiers for the event. BlueSq have an option to remain as sponsor for the return leg as well as an option to sponsor the English team in the Four Nations - will hopefully know whether they will be exercising these options very soon (note to all online cardrooms - Sponsors required for Wales and Scotland). The qualifiers will be held on the team sponsors site.

Id definatley be intersted in playing future events and would be trying the qualifiers even if not selected as it was great fun. Barring that id still probably come along for the laugh and to mock flushy!

So, Token it is then!!!
i'd pretty much like to echo was has been said before. It was a great weekend from start to finnish.
To our hosts- great hospitality, great club and lots of action.
To my teammates - as nice a bunch as i could hope to meet. special mention for flushy as if he wasn't there to take all the flak, my nickname would probably be alot worse than token
To the irish team - hard luck on the day and good luck in the world series as you all seem to be going. K.p. - my money is on you for the main event and of you win i'll probably make more money than you.
To the organisers - i salute you davey and angie, alot of tireless work for a great cause.
Finally, the manager - Clochester Kev - what i will mainly remember about you is the empty bottles of budweiser.
cheers the noo

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

had a fantastic weekend and thanks to davey et al for organising the event- to all of you that i met fot for the first time- top blokes ( and gal) . just for the record- won my omaha after 2 1/2 battle with mr o'dea jnr-
got to say a tad pissed that return is when me and pab are in aruba- would have been nice to play the return after we both won our legs.
oh well we are merely pawns etc etc
top memories- booder "stud muffin"- winning against the oppositions joker- how could you keep a straight face?
daveys face when i told him that pab had missed his flight.... luckily was only joking
dewis relief at realising that he was not the token taff
tokens winning his (was it 10th) allin in a row to win his match
jen winning her match against the wheel while still unconcious
flushie just taking all the flack from us all and still smiling and being top captain bloke (despite spending all his rentboy money in rebuy comp
clothy- generally being top bloke keeping smil on face throughout
Jp- being refuged admittance into pub for being to young- oh and wetting himself while waiting for me to pause for breath while wanting ask to go to the loo- he did have his hand up mind...
pab for winning what i thought was toughest holdem match having had about 2 hours sleep in previous 48hrs- and then continuing on the piss with us
belzieze for steamrollering his nl match then having to be surgically removed from his cash table in the wee hours
pav for arriving late, being top bloke, winning the first game then getting in the poo for letting slip to the missus that the buisness trip to motherwell was in fact a poker tournament
jamie (blue square) reevio for almost being sober at 1 point
and kev (yes you know who i mean) for having no control over us whatso ever and yet still managing a winning side
and finally to all the Irish team- who played hard- partied harder and made us feel so so very welcome- thankyou
