 tolarian folded.
808dafish called $4
BjornP called $4
TightBlonde called $4 and raised $16
rest fold
808dafish called $16

Dealing flop.
Board cards [ ]
808dafish checked.
BjornP checked.
TightBlonde bet $50
808dafish called $50 and raised $100
BjornP folded.
TightBlonde called $100

I would appreciate your comments on my flat call of the check raise here? would you just push all in and take your chances?

Oppo is ABC but not great from my limited notes. He checks his draws and bets his made hands.

Board cards [ ]
808dafish bet $200
TightBlonde?

I am assuming I have to call off (crying call) my last $100 here into a near $400 pot for a redraw to the house. I'm beat aren't I?

I don't think you can flat call the check/raise for 50% of your chips, you're commited whatever the turn is. He might just have AJ....

I'm not sure that you should be calling the flop raise. Are you hoping that maybe you'll hit your boat or that he'll stop betting and check it down? I think you've gotta fold or go all in. I prob fold but than again what do I know? I fold nut flushes on unpaired boards Cheesy

his made hands can include AK and AJ though? as well as a set and K10 which I am behind too

Also i hoped by flat calling the flop check raise I might get a check from him on a danger turn card

Scare card comes...It comes the flush and straight card..... and he sets me in

So much for that plan

I should have pushed in on the flop after the check raise...by flat calling I left myself no options on the turn

I don't like the fold having put $70 in when I may be ahead. Ludicrous way to think I accept.

I called due to it being $100 into a $400 pot...misplayed on the flop by me

He showed AJ no spades. I won a nice pot, slightly fortuitously

and this story boys and girls is why Mr Brunson says A Q offsuit should be played very carefully.  Cheesy

I reckon I would have folded here. someone only needs a 10 to make the straight and ofcourse any 2 spades beat you aswell. (this is after the turn)

After the flop I would either stick all my money in or fold. I wouldn't consider giving him a free card for a straight or flush draw when I've got top 2 pair, but if I'm not confortable enough with sticking my money in I would fold in a second.
