Some psycho, coke-sniffing, pool hustling, self proclaimed degenerate, yankee doodle dandy I met in the Tilted Kilt last night to win the thing. (Cannae mind his name, mighta been Bob.)

Mad gambler, had $20k on Brazil to beat France. Doesn't really follow "soccer" but apparently he can't get to sleep unless he's punted money on something.

I politely declined his offer to play for $200 a ball. If he potted first, I mighta been a bit short for my taxi.  Cheesy

Dale to finish 2nd.  Cool

OK, here's my five. All of them are Brits. While this may seem daft, I'd rather pick people I would be happy to see win than any of the Yanks (although I would be happy for Brian if he won)

1. Stuart Fox - running well over here
2. Lord Wernick - not running well, but due some luck
3. Jim Kerrigan - very suited to large fields and not phased by the size of the buy in, cashed well in the $1,500 a couple of days ago
4. Bhupinder Kholi - 2 cashes out of three so far, including the Razz, which was the first time he had played it as a tournament.
5. Any of the 5 Blue Square online qualifiers - Gwion Jones, John Exley, Tyrone Kerrigan, Paul Vicary and Tony Palester.
