Would you believe, even after taking note of this thread earlier, I forgot all about this, otherwise I would have been there at least to lend moral support...

EDIT: Oh, and I agree with Homer that in an ideal world we could generate private tables to make sure that Pab only teaches us blondes how to play and not the entire Trib. Net. (and also to make sure that any blondes who want a seat can get one)

...but this world aint ideal, and there are many things that still need to get upgraded.

(Say, boys, when IS the next upgrade due, anyway? 36+ paid places by April? And table-balancing?  *whistles*  )

Table balancing is a must. We had 15 left in the $3.5k GTD, and tables of 9 and 6...

Good points Zim but I for one am happy that Pab has donated $500 to the next league and that the mahority of it came from non-blondes.

Indeed.

I feel we might be talking a touch at cross purposes though,  I believe Homer's comments re: private tables stemmed from Pab's original post:

Shame this idea was a bit of a non-started but nevermind, im still on the 1/2nl table atm with mr moves. Flushy and jezza both lost a buy in at this table in unfortunate circumstances so i will stay true to my word and contribute half of the profits towards the next BPL in some form

...i.e. that the low-stakes 10c/20c or whatever idea was a non-starter, and that's the table I would have played had I remembered this was happening tonight.

I don't know, maybe if we had private tables we could have gotten a real low stake table going for a few more Blondeites to have a go at Pab without endangering their bankrolls - but as you say, to add half his profits from that $1/$2 table is a wonderful thing for Pab to do, and my hat is off to him.

Or rather, my brand spanking new BlondePoker baseball cap (earned from the first league) is off to him... Cheesy

I would have thought it was obvious.

The flop was 10-9-7, Flushy moves all-in. Gee has 9-3, he puts Flushy on 7-4os and calls.

it's very good of pab to donate the money but i would think it would be a good idea to make it a one off.
Why should he give any?
I bet pab isn't such a high roller that 500 bucks can be tossed to charity on a whim all the time.
