Fee agreed and Kuyt in Liverpool today to take medical and finish agreeing terms.

What's the opinions on this transfer?

I think he will be a good signing for 'Pool, maybe notching 10 goals or so this season with the squad rotation system.  Can't see a future for Fowler now, he will play a very small role.

Kuyt not interested in Newcastle, who they gonna go for now?

I'm not a fan of this signing at all. No pace but a good touch and works hard for the team and is good in the air.

Sounds a lot like the departed Morientes.

Do the strings and handles come as standard?

Is it one of those special "stunt" varieties?

I have watched him play for feyenoord for a while now and I reckon he is highly over rated.
But if crouch is injured then you know who will replace him.

Quite expensive for a Crouch back-up!

Yeah I'm not that upset he doesnt want to play for us, he hasnt impressed me in the 4/5 games I have seen him in, but that goal record is good! - we do need someone though, and quick!

Newcastle might need to make do with some guy who claims to be 21 but is actually 43 and a half.

They need a target man. Martins is too like Owen, I can see Newcastle going for Mido

I have been saying that all summer but he's about the only striker we haven't really been linked with!

Martins has unbelievable pace, I havent seen that from Owen for years sadly. If they go for Martins they will need another to go with him, I'd settle for Mido, Martins and Bridge before the end of the window! My Stephen Carr out campaign will have to wait, or Ramage/Taylor will have to oust him!
