I believe someone may have commandeered my lappie while I went on a loo break. Some serious misreading of chip counts going on in the above post, hehe.

Play has resumed and we have lost a total of three players. I spoke to Ben Battle during the break who assured me that he will only be playing for another 20 mins. He's down to 4,000 and can't be bothered any more.

Two of the people we have lost are:

Freddy Secola and Mike Secola. I presume they are related.

oy

My Dad told me that Lehman made a bit of a howler by coming out for a punch and missing the ball completely, leaving Mellberg to nod Villa into the lead vs Arsenal today.

I said, "So, in Lehman's terms, you're telling me he's rubbish"

I was very proud of myself.

Chip counts - well, its a slow tourney with a deep stack so if I get caught up doing chip counts I'll never be able to keep it up, so no, I have taken a stance against chip counts at this early stage. I feel that at this stage of a tourney chip counts are pretty irrelevant. The key is just to know generally how people are getting on. When the field is reduced more significantly I will start doing them, but for now here's a few pointers as to how well or otherwise some of the players are doing:

Tikay - a bit below average (or 27,000 if u believe what he says)
Maria - a bit below average
Martin Green - above average
El Blondie - above average
Paul Parker - below average
Stuart Nash - about half the average stack
Peter Singleton - twice the average stack
Joe Grech - above average
Red-Dog - below average
Dave Barnes - well below average, as he is out.

The average is now 10,900 and there are 68 players remaining. I'm off for a spot of food now. Back soon...

Surely there's a few blanks to fill in between some of those words...  stirthepot

I've had me tea now - very nice it was too.

Tikay has just won a nice pot. Jeff Burke has raised 3,000 preflop after there were a few limpers.Tony has gone all in, reraising for another 6,700. Jeff passed showing

Tikay says he passed 9-7, but it was probably a misread.
