Tom Levene is our third place finisher receiving £5,180 winnings.

He held  versus Alan's  , all-in preflop.

The second card out was the  and that pretty much was that for Tom.

Jeff and Alan are fairly even in chips now, but Jeff holds a marginal lead after the first few hands between them.

They are both playing very cagily now, with Alan now holding the lead - 340k to Jeff's 300k. Not a lot in it. They both deperately want to win the Blue Square watch, lol.

Its all over. Jeff Rogers is the Brighton Summer Shaker Champion winning £10,800.

Alan Dean is therefore the runner up collecting £7,300.

Jeff raised 25k, Alan Raised it another 70k. Jeff called.

The flop came down

Jeff, who had regained the chip lead again before this hand moved all in. Alan calls.

Jeff has

Alan has

But Alan missed his flush draw as the turn was  Two Clubs , the river the  and it was all, finally, over.

A Big thank you to everyone here on blonde for their vert welcome support.

Thanks to Mr Raab for the fantastic updates.

Special mention to all at the Grosvenor Brighton for putting on one of the best tourneys I have played in ages. They got this one spot on. One hour clock 2 x 5000 double chance freezeout, great blind structure including a 150/300 level which makes so much difference, and a nice prize structure with sensible increments between the placings.

Last but not least, congrats to Jeff Rodgers, Summer Shaker champion.
