The ruling has been made and Nicolas Risdale has been eliminated in 9th place winning £740.

Normally I would agree that is should be Nicolas that gets the points, but as they agreed to split the total accumulated 10th and 9th money I think that they should also split the ranking points.

If the points are given to Nicolas, it's saying he finished 9th, and in that case should have taken the £740 for 9th place.

I believe the ruling was correct. The decision to split the money was their personal decision and should not be able to influence an official result. That is the cardroom manager's decison alone.

Well done Nick on keeping up the Green Joker tradition of 100% cashes in live events after qualifying through us, hope Red Dog wins it now.

The final has now started and second hand in Alan Dean moved all in for 34k, to be called by Peter Gourd.

Alan had  versus Peter's

Board

  two spades

Alan doubles up. Peter quarters down.

OK, we have lost Peter GOULD (Gourd was a spelling mistake on the offical print out I was given earlier)

He had

The flop of  looked good and the chips went in, but...

Chip leader Dave Buckland had

The turn was  , the river

So, Peter Gould is our 8th place finisher, picking up £1,100.

He reraised all in with  and Dave called showing
