It looks like so much fun.  Very skillfull, it must be great to do that job.  I have seen them at a couple of air shows in the past and they were always exciting

They are class.

A mate of mine from school, his Dad flew for the arrows, after his run he then took over as the head of the arrows involved in the planning of events etc, pretty damn cool life!

Have to say though the Blue Angels are better.

Saw the Red Arrows in Dartmouth on Saturday, they were outstanding.

I didn't realise it was a three year assignment.  I always thought it was retired RAF pilots that went into the display team.
I have been to the Leuchars Air show a couple of times, they are always there.  It is a brilliant day out, but if you want to get in, you have to start queuing at about 5am. It is absolutely packed with people

I've done some aerobatics with an ex-Red before. Frightening stuff.

Flushy are the Blue Angels the European (French?) team with only 6 planes? If that is them they are amazing.

Blue Angels are US Navy. (if I'm thinking of the correct ones)

The REDBULL air race is on today on TV. It is either on BBC1/2, or .  It may be on ITV though, so keep a lookout.  I think it is on at some point between 12pm and 6pm on one of these channels, I have lost my TV guide and my remote is broken, so I can't get CEEFAX.
