Orang Utan's. Thier incredible reach and double jointed elbow sockets reduce the distance from oche to board from 7ft to 3ft 6".

The other week one challenged Phil The Power Taylor to a match in Jakarta, only problem was that Orang's are not used to pressure, thier lives spent lolling around Far Eastern jungles. Consequently he missed a lot of doubles and choked.

but after loosing 4 on the bounce ripped Taylors arms out of their socket and won by default

well this is why i was apprehensive about putting this match forward.

This was the preferred method of victory for inept orangutan dart players of the 70s until the no arm ripping rule of 81 was introduced.

They ripped so many penguin arms off they changed the species forever, so sad!!!

Hang on, no one mentioned animal drug cheats, that changes everything.
A table tenis playing hippo on speed would be unstobable. It would also manage to leap an extra 12 feet further of the high dive board which would actually put it at risk of landing in the shallow end.

This is getting quite silly... any cricket enhusiast knows that there is no such thing as a 1 day test match.

They have to change it for animal cricket, the chimpanzees run off and the meercats keep nicking spectators hats

But I wouldn't want to back an elephant at table tennis or basketball though...I think my perfect ball sports mammal would have to be the cheetah

Anyone want another animal for table tennis over a cheetah?

An elephant would be great at basketball, suck the ball up up to its trunk then simply drop it into the net.  Think about it!!
