So there i was, re-reading the BB3 info, when i saw that some tables at BB3 with be self dealt.

Oh dear.

So, seeing as i have less than a week to practice, what is the accepted method of shuffling and what type of cards will the casino likely use, plastic or plastic coated ?

Or can i not just use a battery powered shuffler?

You can shuffle how you like, even if you just spread them over the table. The casino will use plastic cards. It's easy peasy and if you get stuck everyone else will help you. Hope that helps

Just use the line "I am new at this, can someone else shuffle and deal for me? I wouldn't want to slow the game down" - ALWAYS someone will do it for you Wink

Also, one of the blondeites on the table may offer to be dealer, so you might not have to worry Wink

Just to clarify

Walsall are providing 15 dealers for the start of the comp, the remaining 5 tables will be self deal until we lose enough players to mean that all the walsall dealers can handle the numbers

So you only have a 5 in 20 chance of being drawn on a self deal table, and even if you are you will be helped along, someone may even volunteer to deal for the whole table as happened at bb2

don't worry!

Richard, if the casino is providing 15 dealers then you can only have 12 tables with dealers unless they are willing to go 3 hours without a break...
