Anthony Romanello has just been knocked out by Alan Davies - pocket tens to Alan's A-J suited. The flush came.

Tariq has gone now. Didn't see what happened as I was in the loo, repositioning a wayward contact lense.

Michael Punshon has been unseated. He had  versus  . Money was in preflop. The board improved neither hand.

With Paul Rawding having his pocket eights cracked by pocket fives, John Exley is once again the longest surviving online qualifier.

...and the longest surviving online qualifier is now out too. Exley's A-J was no match for Ian Herbert's pocket eights, especially when a further eight fell on the turn.

22 left.

A couple of fallers at the last fence. Mark Hall failed to get over his final hurdle, which was pocket sevens v pocket eights. Canadian Joe unmountied (pun especially for snoopy) his ride when pocket queens failed to rise against pocket aces.

Not sure of the spelling of the Aris brothers. Earlier I referred to them as Arees, but this may be wrong.

After another short break, followed by a couple more swift exits, we are down to two tables, or 18 players, as some prefer to describe it.

Is Nick Risdale still in? If so tell him good luck.

Just had an interesting hand involving 4 players. 2 players were all in. One for 3,800 or so, the other for 13,500.

AK v AQ v A9 (all in 3.8k) v JJ (all in 13.5k)

The two with chips behind checked it down.

Jacks were good and we lost the A9 guy, who was Bryn Lacey. Well, he still is Bryn Lacey, but he ain't got any chips left and he ain't winning this one.

Ed Aris is out.  Went not long ago. There are 15 left. Blinds are now 800/1600.
