Jim Reid is OUT.

MB, who Tony Nicholls describes as a maniac, bet into flop, Jim re-raised, MB raised again and Jim called all-in.

Jim =

MB =

And, as you'd expect, that torrid diamond hit the River.

Ignoring the creepy Tann stare momentarily, take a look at this table:

James, King, Tann, Hachem & Wernick - all in a row.

Simon 'Suffolk Punch' Young is OUT

With a few limpers and a button raiser, Simon moves all-in from the Bib Blind with Pocket Fours.

The limpers fold, leaving the initial raiser to go into a long dwell, before calling with K-T.

Hit a straight on the River.

Ouch

Matt is still running okay with 20k.

He just called a preflop raise of 1,050 preflop before betting out on a board of Two Clubs board (flop was checked around).

MB#1 flatcalled, but the preflop raiser moved in. Matt folded, but the caller called the all-in and showed for the flush.

MB#1 had those American Airlines.

A club on the River would give him the pot, but it failed to arrive.

Met Simon at BB3. What a really nice guy.
That hand was just So unlucky! He doesn't deserve it!

Peter Roche has exactly 10k.

He just called a 1k preflop raise from the blinds, but folded, as the other three players did, on the Q-7-4 rainbow flop to a 8.4k overcontinuationbet (is that a new term?)

Yes he says that a "young American guy has just relentlessly bullied me, and I've had some tough decisions, decided to pass each time..."  I professed surprise that there's been found someone who can bully Peter Roche, but it sounds like today has been less than smooth sailing for him.

Here's a less scary picture of Willie Tann - I know he didn't start out there on Mickey's table, in fact I briefly assumed he was out and asked Mickey if he knew what'd happened to him... Willie turned round and said, "I'm still here.  Not all of us can be as good as Mickey though..."

Well he's got 22,000 which is in pretty good shape, whereas the Bluesquare Legend has 30,800.

That TV screen behind him isn't accurate any more, however, blinds are currently 200/400, ante 50, but very soon it's becoming 300/600.  Last two levels approaching, then...

138 players left tonight.

Andreas Hagen, after being all-in that one time, doesn't look keen on dwindling again - he's just taken down a 10k or so pot with a 5,000 bet on the river, in position, with the board .  A lengthy think from his opponent (whose 20k stack wouldn't have liked a 5k loss) and then a pass.

His sunglasses rank as the least silly and the most reminiscent of the Terminator.  Picture coming shortly, to compare with some great aviators elsewhere...
