Well, with 49 players left, it appears as though they've blocked us off.

So, with my going back and forth to the press-room, I always return to the hustle and bustle of the onlooking crowd, meaning that the randoms have a better view than I do.

That aside, I did manage to obtain 4 chip counts:

Nick Gibson -- 25,000
Andreas Hagen -- 110,000
Stephen Pearce -- 155,000
Phil Ivey -- 115,000

And I noticed that the blinds were 2000/4000 (400) with an average stack of 97,939

And Nick Gibson sidles up as I'm watching the feature table - saying, "I hate the bubble," and near enough, he's hit it:

Most of the damage was done when he called a small blind's auto-all-in with his , and found against him (the pot was a total of 30k).  A nine popped out on the river, and then soon thereafter he made a stand with Q 10 and found 77 against him; despite a K J x flop, he failed to improve and is now just hanging out, like us.

"These updates are all well and good, snoopy, but what about the nationalities??" I hear you cry.

Well fear not, I have those vital stats for you now:

The top 5 are as follows:

Sweden -- 103 (22%)
Great Britain -- 70 (14%)
Norway -- 45 (9%)
France -- 42 (9%)
United States -- 37 (8%)

It's their homeland but only 19 (4%) turned up for Spain

On a sidenote, we have single representatives from Ukraine, Iran, Grecia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Macedonia, Venezuela, Argentina and, best of all,... Kazakstan (although it's not Borat, sadly)

The feature table has been fattened again:

It's now:

John x
Paul Testud
David Plastik
Nick Szeremeta
JP Kelly
Johnny Lodden
Phil Ivey
Ross x      (sorry for lack of 2 surnames)

Just watched it for a while, seeing as we can't get to the other tables - JP and Johnny are playing a little more than most (or were, before the addition of Ivey).  A couple of examples:

The first flop on the new TV table was seen by those two - small blind limp from JP, check from Johnny.  three diamonds.  JP checks, Johnny bets 6k, call.
Turn:    Check-check
River:   Check-check.   JP turns over the surprise (winning) hand of AK and says, "I forgot to raise."

Then the next hand, JP raises on the button, Johnny calls.  Flop:    Check-check.
Turn:  Johnny bets out 16,000.  JP calls.
River:    Johnny quickly announces "all-in" and it looks like a real self countdown is going on, but he passes, sending his tricky neighbour a wry grin.

great updates jen and snoop! top stuff!

Amazing as my ISP keeps freezing up (almost costing me a vital rounders win tonight...actually second would have been fine) this thread brings me welcome relief as it's connecting a lot faster to this one then to bet365....you are keeping me from throwing my lappie out the window Smiley

Sure - if we mere mortals were allowed to approach the sanctity of the filmed area....

He looks pretty relaxed, however, and I grin at him like an idiot when I think he's looking.

We're not entirely sure, but it's a good guess that we should

And on that note, we've reached the final 45, with everyone going home with some spondoolies.

The xenaphobes out there will be pleased to hear that it was two Frenchman who took the last 2 places. Whilst Paul Testud fell in 47th, it was left to a fellow simply named Hubert (his surname escapes me) to take the unwanted bubble spot.

Paul Parker has just doubled up.

He moved in for 22k with Q-7, only for Noah Boeken to make a good call with K-4.

However, Paul outdrew the young Dutchman to shoot up to around 50k.
