Stu is just managing his image at the table as he sees fit, he won't show many times.

The standard is probably fairly high seein as it is an EPT event, showing someone rags once at this stage probably
isn't going to send them on an UberTilt
Thought he was a rock anyway Wink

Well said, i think the play is brilliant, i think he shows the other players in a way they shud respect him. He knows what he is doing!

Hi guys,
Good updates as usual.
How's Isabelle doing ?

Isa is now on around 30k, she seems to be having a really good time, she limped in from the cut-off and the small blind made up and then all three players decide to check the flop dark.

Flop:

Turn:

The SB checks, the BB bets 1200 and Isabelle calls, the SB folds.

River:

Check, check.

The BB shows sixes, but Isabelle has A7 (and has obviously read snoopys article about limping with raggy aces Roll Eyes)

Stu Rutter and Petr Hedblom tangle, Stu raises to 2200 in EP, Petr next to him re-raises to 6000, it's passed back to Stu who re-raises it to 20k leaving about 8k back. Petr eventually mucks and Stu shows AK... What did Petr pass? TT perhaps? Is that how to play AK?

Pommo is OUT I'm afraid.

I know to push with any two cards that include one higher than an 8 when you raise my BB and I'll be ahead. Wink

I don't think he should've shown, but it did visibly upset the other guy when he did. So perhaps it was the right move. Anyway I'm going back to the cardroom, you'd be surprised but we have to go down one set of stairs, through a load of doors then up another set of stairs. So that's why you tend to get the updates in clumps I'm afraid. At least Jen, Snoopy and I will have "Calves of Steel" by the weekend. Cool

I wished Mickey good luck on your behalf. I'll do the same with Martyn next time I go down, if he's still in of course.

A quick browse of the chip leaders shows us that your current chip leader is Johnny Lodden with an incredible 146,000. He's quite the player!

Leading the chasing pack is Anon Y Mouse (pictured below) on 75,000, closely followed by Simon 'The Bubble' Zach with 74,650, with England's Sam Hayak (73,300) and Hendon Mobber, Barney Boatman, (67,750) not too far behind them.

If you're wondering how Simon accrued all those chips, it was in a fortunate battle of the blinds clash with Shannon Shorr. All-in preflop, Simon flopped a set of Queens to outdraw Shorr's Pocket Cowboys.
