This is the first time i have played this oppo, before this hand i really didnt rate him, he managed to get 1500 in pre flop with 88 on level 1. He also took his time passing 55 on a Q32J board (of course he might not have had 55 but its an odd lie if it is a lie)

lol.. much better to wait til level 2 before pitching in your chips with 88!

As for this hand, what do you think he called with on the flop and turn that is gonna fold the river? the board is about as drawless as possible. I wouldn't even fire the turn, let alone the river.

I think you're getting far too busy with these paired boards. People don't usually call  bets on paired flops without a good reason. Fire once on the flop fine, after that you're just throwing chips away.

I agree, there are no draws so he is calling you with something. The three isn't going to scare him (no card would) and he will call your river bet. I find calling the flop bet and then firing on the turn takes down these pots if your opponent is willing to fold.

I fired 900 he called with QQ Sad

I ended up knocking the mug out when he called all in on a AK3QJ board with KQ.
