how do people manage to get their entire stack in on the first hand of a Heads up tourney with complete garbage, Whats the reasoning behind it.

I have started playing a few more Heads up games at$5 and $10 levels i'm comfy with it and I keep my BR ticking over for all the money i lose in tourney buyins.
I do find however these guys move their stack in to pick up 80 chips on the first hand then show complete trash, needless to say I usually win  Cool  but I fail to see the reasoning.  Is it a " i'll set him up early" type move??

opinions please

some people just play the $5 and $10's to let off a bit of steam, and some of them are just terrible poker players that don't know any better then to shovel their chips in the middle
