Just got back from brum, and read the updates, well done to suitedjock. so ul to finish 4th.
and to all the other blondes who got together to make it a fun weekend,I'm sure you all like me can't wait for the next leg of the APAT.
Thanks to Glenn(bigfellla) for pushing me from the hotel to the broadway, many times.
thanks to Des,Tony,Mel. and Richard, for their efforts to make the 1st APAT event run so smoothly.their organising and genuine Bon amiee, made all of us players feel relaxed.
The broadway team impressed, as did the venue itself, prrobably the nicest casino I've been in, in the UK.
I hope the APAT goes from strength to strength, cos I intend to remain a member and enjoy the rest of the tour through the year.
Brendan.

Well my first post guys.
Not a very pleasent drive home after finishing 5th.
But would like to extend my thanks to APAT and all those mentioned above for a great tournament.
Suited_Jock, Great performance. Definately deserved the win. Unlucky.
RookieITB, thought I'd blown it when I tried bluffing you when you had Aces, but managed to hold on a bit.
Thanks again all, oh and Ironside. It was a pleasure playing at your table. And knocking you out.
And just for my peace of mind. My name is spelt - Antony Wolsey.
Cheers

You knocked Ironside out ... ??
Consider yourself welcomed and thankyou for making sure we never had to endure Irons everlasting chirping

What a fantastic weekend!!!
A big thanks to all the APAT team, Tikay, Des, Richard & Mel for making the event so enjoyable.
The Broadway was an excellent venue for the 1st live event. The dealers & rest of the cardroom team were very hepful & professional and hot buffets were provided on both days.
I finished 14th,shortly after having an accident with pocket 3's (I suppose he had to call with AA...)
I stayed on to watch the final which turned out to be very exciting. Lots of all ins and chips moving freely around the table. I thought suited jock as unlucky and played the best poker in the tournament. Also well done to all the players who made the event so successful.
I hope this is the start of great things for the APAT and cannot wait till the next event.
Thanks to all the players over the last 2 days for being so friendly and making the tournament so enjoyable, hope to see you all again soon.

Hey guys
What a fantastic event its a shame about the comments regarding the prize structure as being as top heavy as it was made for a truely great and epic final table. Not one for being results orientated i was pretty much a coinflip away from taking the thing down.
stacks
Button - 200k ish
SB - 440k
BB-Me -450k
Ive got a great aggressive image for defending my BB Button passes. SB makes it 100k i reraise allin to 450k total and he still calls the extra 300+k with K high (KQ).. my cries of one time drowned out by ironside and a K on the flop
Absoultely gutted played some of the best poker in my short career on that final table but lady luck wasnt smiling when it mattered
Oh and I missed my last plane, last bus, last train and am going to have to stroll in late to work tomorrow
Writing this from broad street travel lodge..
I thought you played a terrific final table, the bullying 5 handed was top stuff!
Unlucky not to win it Matt, but well done anyway
Same applies to Scott M, probably on the M6 neading North as I write, he was a coinflip away from a huge chip lead 3 handed but lost it and that was almost that
I really felt for him, fantastic patience all day.
