Those of you who have played in Brighton Grosvenor will know Laura, the young Scottish dealer, some of you will also know her from some festivals where she has dealt.

Sadly last Friday she died very suddenly, it appears she was feeling ill, she went to bed and never woke up again. She suffered from diabetes, so its quite likely it was a diabetic coma.

A truely tragic loss, someone so young and happy. She really did light up the cardroom.

I only met Laura once and she seemed a lovely lady full of life. A real Scottish ray of sunshine.

So very sad.

always sad to hear of someone passing before their time, even if you don't know them.  Tragic.

I know her from Luton Festivals I've played.

Sad news indeed, such a bubbly character.

She dealt at my table many times, I saw her often because she used to travel for festivals.

She aways had a smile and a friendly word.

I'm so sorry.

I'm very shocked and upset by this news. Laura was one of the friendliest, bubbliest dealers you could hope to meet. A great loss.

I'm very saddened to hear this news.  I would be happy to put $10 into a blonde comp for the complete proceeds to go to her family if that sort of thing can be done.
