FT MTT,

Must say that reading posts on blonde has influenced my call.

1st i thought if he had bigger pair, he would re-raise me, second i thought to myself i can't always assume that the other person has a better hand then me, and 3rd it is long way to the money so either go broke or double up.  Ps the chips stacks are not given here (don't why but after this call i would be felft with 400 chips.

yeah...i would be quite happy to make that call on that board.

but, especially if you're uncomfortable with that call, it's a great call when someone asks for all your chips.

Nice going.  I've had a few situations like this recently and find them everso uncomfortable too.

Good call.

I don't see the point of this thread.  If you want analysis, you should withold your opponent's hand (at least initially).

As it is, blinded by hindsight no one is going to say "Bad call" because obviously in this instance it was a good call. I just don't think anything is gained by posting a hand and everyone seeing that you were right & posting "I agree".

I dont see the point of this post. If you dont want to rejoice in someone posting a hand that they would have folded before the advice on blonde , then I recommend you try your best to ignore the thread. I dont think anything is gained by posting in a thread merely to say "I dont see the point in this thread"

is pretty good analysis indeed... and doesn't require much additional analysis. Obviously if it was wrong, there would be people  pointing out where it is wrong.

MrsLime,
Perhaps sometimes while reading something you should pay more attention to detail?

The death of the author starts when the text is completed.  From then on, is up to the reader to interpret the text.

As totalise kindly replied to your post; my hand was an analysis in itself, and hopefully some will find it useful and next time when they are faced with similar situation, they will try to analyse the action before making a good call.

This thread is not called - ' bad beat'/ 'unlucky' / 'what shall I do'  either, therefore I feel entitled to post this hand as any other user of this forum.

Agreed..and even if you do post the entire hand some analysis can still be done. Like I said I'd be happy to make that call on this board (which in itsself might be interpreted as constructive critisism to you feeling uncomfortable about the hand).

I think people can pick up tips from every hand that gets posted on here to be honest, that';s why I love this forum.

Mrs Lime is firm and harsh.  This I've learnt from other posts.

At the risk of diverting the thread back to the original topic slightly - I think I'd also be very happy making this call. I'd instinctively be less happy about a smaller but significant raise where i'm going to face another decision on the turn. If he's got you beat I suspect he plays it slower than this. I think the only hand I'd potentially be worried about would be queens, but that's a pretty slim chance.

My first thought was that perhaps he has flat called with bigger pair, but then this is a low buy in tourney when the big pairs are played fast.  Also his actions before this hand were usually fast re-raises of big hands.  So one can say it was player dependent decision.
