I saw someone on another site suggest it was a practise run for the WCOOP events structure.

WCOOP's been running for 3 years so I'd be surprised. I'm hoping they'll be regular in all formats ie NLHE PLO/8 PLO PLHE etc. If they were probably never go to another casino £20 rebuy comp.

In the end it was a $33k prize pool and lasted just under 11 hours. A tremendous structure and looks like it was a huge hit. I would love to see more of this on the sites.

It did take forever, but if it was once a week i dont think people would mind.

Better yet would be to keep it at 200 runners!

Apaprently the tourney name last week was something like 'WCOOP Test 1'.

None of the WCOOP events has more than 2500 starting chips. this "deep stack" has 5000. None of the WCOOP NLHE events will have less than 1100 entrants, thi was capped at 1100. Go figure Huh?
