FAO Cambo and Flushy:

Thats your opinions that im missing out, however, when i go to play a freezeout, i get proper play right from the start, ill pay my $3 or $5 and if i lose i walk away only $3/$5 down, however....

when i play a rebuy i get idiots playing like clowns from the start, if i get AA, Kk, or QQ and the like, they will usually get outdrawn as there are 2 / 3 callers to my all in and they get sucked out, making me rebuy for another buy in, this might happen twice or three times therefore ive paid 4 times more than i planned too

so id rather play my $5 and if i lose i lose minimum, than pay $20 and be even more frustrated that i lost 4 times as much!

as i say thats your opinion and your entitled to it, however, its my games and my money and ill play as i see fit.

Fair do's i guess its all about why you play, for the enjoyment or for the money.

Precisely, not everyone plays like you or Cambo, we are all different and have different views.

I love Big Macs, Janet loves KFC, but we still cuddle up at night. Cool

The software is ace, definately one of the better ones out there.

And there is a lot of dead money. Plus rebuys are where the VALOOOOOO is.

The software is great, nice layout and everything you want to see is there - if only they would bring back the "last hand" feature, atm its in hand history which is hard to read when playing.

The hands per hour is a HUGE factor - no other site I play on gets anywhere near the hands per hour TRIBECCA does, cos its just so damn fast!

Wow some serious Tribecca bashing going on.

Billy you know my views on Tribecca and rebuys, dont act surprised mate.

I'm not acting surprised mate, I genuinely am surprised that so many people dislike tribecca, but there are plenty of poker sites out there and they all want more punters so the choice is available.

If you dislike FTP, Tribecca or crypto (grr) then you have more choice out there. I was always a fan of the WPT site before i found Blonde and Blue Sq.

no worries billy mate, i just find it funny why people act surprised when i mention not liking Tribecca, when ive never hid it.

My two fav sites are:

FTP and Crypto, with a little dabble in Stars (very like FTP IMO)

all the rest i have a slight problem with, the worst being Tribecca, but then, i am a VERY Picky man

Its a shame tho, as i really want to play and help out Blonde poker, but really can do something i dont like to do so, other wise id hate playing poker  Cool

Dave you have heard the arguemetns on the value of rebuy tournaments vs the static prizepool of freezeouts. The potential return vs amount of wonga spent, and the value of a tournament against the overlay (or underlay).

lets face it, none of that is important when you dislike rebuys for no other reason than having your aces cracked by the same loon that you will meet in a freezeout as well as a rebuy. You are entitled to feel that way because its your money. I just dont think that the reasoning is sound. Im not intending to have a go.

charging juice on rebuys and having 75bb stacks in some of the ring games are two of the most rediculous things I have ever seen in an online poker-room.

Oh and Mikky, what do you mean by an underlay? you been fitting some carpets for a bit of pocket money?

Its my word for negative overlay Smiley

Dave, I appologise for calling your reasons mince. It wasnt meant to bait it was meant as a (backfired) joke. You are entitled to your reasons and personal situations should always dictate what you should and shouldnt play. ..

Its just Ive heard the reasons why you hate rebuys before, when we used to have this discsussion on a weekly basis Smiley and your personal situation was different then. I assumed wrongly that your reasons where still as they where back then.

Phew.

it has nothing to do with my personal situation at all, i just dont feel like you cannot play proper poker during a rebuy stage, its bollox.

freezeouts are the way to go, and im happy with that, weather im loaded or pratted.

you apology is accepted tho, cheers

Cheers for that Dave didnt realise that about the rebuys, I too shalll give em a wide berth. I like the overlay but it looks like there are takin the the piss withthe extra juice. I did think there were far to many rebuys.

I dont like the software either but cant cope with it due to the soft stt's.
