Sorry, I wasn't very clear in my original post.  I meant soap actors.  There are alot of great British actors like Patrick Stewart, Ray Winstone is good, Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewall(sp?) , Ian Mckellan, etc.  I meant the people out of Eastenders, The Bill and soaps like that.  I think Robin Hood is on a par with that sort of stuff.  For the cost, I would have expected abit more from it

1/10     The word to describe this sounds like "Fish" but starts with a P  Cheesy

The acting was like eastenders acting, crap  and the sets were the most tacky I have ever seen

When I was at School,  a bunch of about twenty of us made a short 20 minute Vampire movie.  In my honest opinion , the acting in our movie was better than Robin Hood

British actors these days are so bad, they are all like soap actors.  Dr Who had terrible acting, but at least the scripts were watchable. Robin Hood was complete naff

The guy playing Robin Hood looked like he would be more suited to hanging round a chippy on a Saturday night

Is this the one with Kevin Costner???

cos your a bit late mate, this Flopped about 12 years ago did it not?

It was some tosh commisioned by the Beeb dave.

Careful, you might annoy some of the residents with comments like that!!!

Ah come on, Beppe was allright.

At least he looked well good compared to his on screen brother (whatever his name was). It's not as if he's Joel fae Neighbours or anything.

To be an actor in a top TV show you must be good.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Okay okay I'll stop stirring Cheesy

I thought it was okay, given that it was aimed at kids/teens.

Of course not.

I don't think so. What they tried to make it was Robin Hood in the style of Hustle or Spooks, but the director they used for this couldn't do it.

In fairness this might not be the directors fault, the writing and acting were both dire, but in truth I think the combination of the 3 was what made it so lame overall.

It might still take off - they used multiple directors and writers for the series so it could still improve, but I don't think that saying it's only aimed at kids/teens fully excuses its awfulness.

Well I quite enjoyed it, but these things are subjective.
