Could you leave the comic and delete the spam?

Yes we could, we're discussing it at the moment. but I think it sends a clear message to spammers if these posts, especially from first time posters, are deleted entirely.

Then why not delete the thread in the board? That was left and just the spam removed.

Perhaps I've made a mistake. I do that quite often.

Couldnt do it Flushy ... the post contained a link to the cartoon, which was on a site with rakeback affiliate links ..... if he didnt want to spam he could have pasted the cartoon without the links.

Now stop causing trouble and concentrate on the 60k you mug. you need a big cash so you can come to singapore Smiley

Hey guys, I didn't realise it would be considered "spam"... I'm a new member and thought I could post something interesting for you guys to check out as it was in the General Discussion forum which said "Feel free to talk about anything and everything here both on and off the topic of poker". This is nothing to do with rakeback and not intended as advertising which can therefore take away anything from Blonde Poker, it's just a comic strip. That is it. The reason I linked was because there's lots of other comics on the site, not just the one I posted. The comic is hilarious though, it's about time someone made something original like this!

This is NOT meant as spam and I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to post this link again here but as people were actually asking what it was... it was...

Nice to meet you guys, I'm still checking out all the material but there's just too much!!

I have removed it again. it seems you are a slow learner.

I think it was RED-DOG that posted that line in my post. It seems I can't do anything right around here. Bit harsh on a new member who doesn't know the forum etiquette to perfection. My apologies. Sad

I agree, it was rude and uncalled for.

hey tehmac - I wouldn't worry about it, it takes time to get to know the rules and regulations in a new place, and that's especially difficult when they aren't published anywhere

I don't think there was any need for the slow learner comment either.  Please don't let it put you off - we're generally a friendly bunch round here Smiley
