During this break I've been having another check on the €2000 event. Managed to get there in time to see Barny Boatman lose most of his chips in a A-K vs T-T confrontation. The board read 8-5-4-2-J. He went out shortly after.

Ram is also short, I reckon he's got just about 10k or so, I think he lost a big pot before I arrived. Ross Boatman looks in fairly good shape on around 80k whilst Bad Girl has I think 120k. She just took down a sizeable pot after calling a check/raise on a  flop and then betting the turn when it was checked to her again. This time her opponent folded and she showed . Ram, Ross and Bad Girl are all on the same table.

Marcel Luske has about 7 or 8 huge and I mean HUGE, stacks, and is also going rather well, in fact I have a picture of his stack, and I want you to tell me how much he has. Pinks are 100 and the blues are 1k and yes that is an extra stack of pinks at the back. Good luck!

Back to the main event and Ramzi Jelassi is the 25th place finisher.

He made his stand with  and found a caller getting 4-1 who had

Board:

  two hearts

At least he gets €9,433 as consolation (second prize tier - definitely enough for new trainers).

More waiting now, as they redraw for the final three tables.  When the dust settles, I'll go and see if I can name them all and tell you their new positions.

Marcel luske 81k?

  to Blonde

Closest so far...

Jules - Message passed on and a thankyou from him.

Remaining Brit, Peter Gould has about 70k and is on the TV table, blinds are now 4k/8k so he'll have to make a move soon. But one double up will jump him right back up into contention.

Dario Minieri has around 250k and is CL.

Hi Dino - Argyris is still in, will just go and find some interesting stuff to tell you about him (he's on the TV table no more, sadly) after this News:

Triple elimination.

OK, three different hands, but some kind of mental watershed appears to have been reached and players are dropping fast:

1) Nicolai Vivet
2) Age Spets  (Short; Q4 vs victorious housemaking A 6)
3) Mel Judah

Caught the last one in full:  Mel Judah all-in on a flop of , Rodion happy enough with his .  Mel showed
Turn and river:

Always delighted for lurkers to get involved... howdy

I think NoFlops only asked that about the stack count because he couldn't actually count it.

Not sure yet; they're a little funny about the media over there - but I enjoyed covering it last year, and will definitely consider it if it isn't a long uphill struggle...

19th place finisher is Martin Wendt   KQ vs and A9, with an Ace on the flop for good measure...
