i play on ladbrokes. been playing mtts mostly from $5-$25. the stakes i play are too big for my bankroll which is why im constantly in the red. just as well i have my wages to keep me going. im thinking of joining a rakeback site as i do spend quite a bit on poker but the problem is that i like laddies:( ive been playing $5 stts with over 20 seats in between mtts. in terms of live games, i came 3rd in the blonde bass (brag brag) . ive not been in the money in the other 4(ish) live tourneys but have quite a bit of success in boyfriendscousinkevs home games.

I started at the £20 PLH rebuys in Notts, had an awesome run which brought me in over 10k, lost some, spent a LOT and left myself with no bankroll. Went bust about 18 months ago as a reusult of spending too much and thinking I was better than I was, so it was back to basics. Played the £5 rebuys at Walsall until I won, split one after about fourth attempt for 1k and then I was away again. Went back online and was breaking even for ages, won 4k in Walsall and several k in 2 online multis which did my bankroll a world of good. Suddenly found a strategy that worked for me onine about 1 yr ago, quit my job to play pro, went to work for blonde 2-3 months later, carried on playing pro and have been winning since, but few multi successes this year. Rather concerned by the ban, but i'm going to treat it as a challenge. Have been low a few times, but I'm alive so can't complain. Love life, love updates, love poker, love the people. Going bust did me the world of good. Currently play 2/4 cash and multi £20-500 when I can, have to play satellites for anything bigger. And exhale....

I play online mostly as I live in Jersey and although we have a poker club it is mickey mouse with disney proportions !!!
I consider myself a better tournament player than cash although do ok at both, mainly play 3 /6 nl cash on tribeca. Tourns, I play the sunday nighters on tribeca and occasionally the 20k mideweek, also like the ladbrokes 8pm tourns.
I play live when I get the opportunity, have qualified for a few events via satelite, (VC Cup, euro finals in paris, wsop and Grov grand prix), also have paid to enter other festival events in Brighton and Amsterdam (off there in 2 weeks, cant wait). I have a full time job at RBS though which gets in the way!! I dont make any spectacular money out of the game but especially this year the extra cash from a few good results has been nice!

I spend all day sorting out arguments.

I spend all night sorting out arguments.

I dream about arguments.

Fortunately this means I can't find the time to lose too much at poker.

lol sorry m8 couldn't resist when you said "without taking the mick" I'm playing 2/4NL atm badly. I'm aggressively moving up as soon as I get 20 buyins for the next level, would love to be playing 10/20 sometime next year.

The impression I get is that most people on here play poker. Lot's of small stakes players of course but everyone has to start somewhere and I think Blonde is a nice place to learn about poker cos there's no flaming and stuff. You can post stuff on some other forums and it's all just LOOOOOOOOOL U SUCK.

You can get a good idea of what everyone is playing on the hand analysis forum.

I play much less than I want to because of clashes with my work commitments.

I don't have a big enough security net in terms of bankroll to consider not having work commitments to worry about.

I'm currently playing lower stakes than I'd ideally like to be while I re-build my bankroll , having spent a chunk of it on my wedding and honeymoon.

I play really small STT($1) one month and then the next month play $20 STT when I have built up to them. I sadly go broke often because I make too many withdrawals, go on tilt easily and then try to keep playing the same levels with a reduced bankroll  Cheesy.  I am currently re-building right now ( again ) and am trying to control my self destruct tendencies and not move up or take out money from my account.  When playing the $15 and $20 STT, I feel out of my depth, so am going to stop playing this level until I can win consistenly at the $5 and $10 limits.

I play MTT's any buy-in between $10 and $100 mostly on UB and Crypto, on average I manage one decent win a week, I don't play live much so when I do I want to play good quality comps, hence I save up a percentage of my winnings to play good tournaments, (e.g the £200 FO at Gutshot recently and I'm half way to covering the €1000 Green Joker Event at the end of November). The only time I have played a main event live I finished 4th in Southampton which I was pretty chuffed about, but I still can't afford to play them, so, sats, sats and more sats.

I suck at all forms of cash, except limit Hi/lo Omaha.

Online

I currently play anything from $10 sngs and $33 sngs on party my bankroll is primarily suited to the $22 sngs however needed to be less choosy when the online ban came into effect in America. Going through a rebuilding process at the moment playing 20 sngs a night hoping to hit the $50 and $70 sngs by the new year as well as playing the $5-$10 limit hold'em games on party and crypto again.

Live

Play anything from £10 rebuys mtts to £200 freezeouts. Hoping to play bigger tournaments next year across the country and maybe even a cheeky wee visit to the WSOP $1000 buyin event if the money allows.

the feed back im getting here is that a lot of blondes play mostly online ,this is not a dig at anyone but it seems to me that it sounds as if nobody wins online????ok red gets a few results and a few others but im sure that online DO NOT PAY,,,,,, i just think online is a expensive way of entertainment the only winner online i think is the rake,i think the only value online imho is to play small mtts  ,without showing off but i have played from £3 up to £2000 online mtts and i really dont see any diffrence in the play as to £3 its crazy as to £2k is the same as the £100 and above tourneys seem to bring bigger players i.e bigger bankrolls i.e bigger bluffers and looser players ,thinking they can make more moves on lower rolled players...in lehmans terms if i played
£3  re- buy against a guy on £250 a week wages i think the game would be quite tight from him,but if i was playing aginst a guy @ £2000 hup i dont know who he is he could be a millionaire and be very loose,,,bloody hell lol,
my point is i think online is no good
its ok for small fun
but i dont ever think anyone will get a fortune and keep it
as it just gets passed around, ive spoken to a lot of top players online about this and a lot agreed
they all seemed to think that only 2-5%off online players actually win (long term)

I play for fun. $2-$10 STT $1-$10 MTT's and Micro cash games, also £10-£20 MTT live games.

I do it to meet people and have a laff, I dont really care about being great or making cash. Its cheap form of entertainment for me.
