Sad Ironsides, Seventh Heaven has disabled facilities etc - BUT you can't get to it in a wheelchair (5 or 6 steps from all directions before you get there). You'd need someone to help you get to the place.

Ironside, its not to bad, when you come from the main road its only 5 steps small steps up, as long as your not Rod's Size (ha ha sorry Rod) youll get up them No probs.

The main thing is that the actual club has the facilities.

Is that your choice then?

Rod are you up for it?

I guess this is a daft question, but I'm gonna ask anyway, but maybe I am missing something.

If the club has disabled fascilities, how come it is only accessible by stairs or steps? Does that not make it, effectively, off limits to most disabled people?

its complicated, the actualy club is kind of in a Presinct area, you need to go up 5 wee steps, up to the kind of raised Presinct place and it round the corner, theres other things like a coffee house etc in it!

it will be find tho, not a problem.

Gotcha. The club has disabled facilities, but the Mall or Centre in which it is located does not. I understand now.

But this get like "how does the snow plough driver get to work on a snowy day" thingy.

5 small steps are a no no

having gone up steps at my brothers wedding (best man and all that i couldnt get out of it)
and spending the next few months in hospital with a broken neck i wont go up anything more than a curb

i rarely goto the local casino and one of my bug bears with it is there is 2 steps (2 curbs basically) to get in

Not a daft question - the bouncer got a wee bit annoyed when I burst out laughing when he said they were wheelchair friendly - but wouldn't help to get access to the precinct.

Best bet will probably be a taxi to Legs & Co. Not the plushest - but the girls are pleasant (to the eye & to speak to).

Further update for Ironsides - you're costing me a fortune in 'research fees'  Wink.

The Truffle Club, while in the 1st & 2nd floors has lift access to both floors & the  bouncer was keen to let me know that they are wheelchair friendly.

Gentlemen I think we have a winner.
