You can think that you are so far ahead here in a heads up pot moving in is a bit ott. I want to get my chips in but am happy to do it through the streets.

i called and C/R'd the turn. Unfortunately the 6 had tripped him up but just wanted to confirm that i am right trying to get them all in the middle. I'm never getting away from that HU on the first hand against unknown oppo, won too many times with that situation to stop now.

Why does everyone c/r the turn? I would call the turn bet and then fire on the river.

-When he bets the turn, there will be enough in the pot (1,000 chips+) that you will be happy to take it down.

-Calling two decent sized bets on a drawless board arouses suspicion, he's unlikely to call a river bet if he wouldnt call the turn raise. (unless he hit two pair on 5th street  Wink )

-It can sometimes be easier to get chips in on the turn (when your opponent can still hit his miracle) than on the river (when he knows he's missed completely)
