Hi,

Basically the local football team i play for are looking for a new kit.

We are a pretty reasonable side, currently 2nd place in the 1st division in our local league. We are also in the County cup and looking strong in it so far.

The cost of the kit would be approx £250. Anybody interested can choose the logo by all means but i would appreciate it if the kit could be kept to our traditional colours of Black and Red.

I think this would be a good oppurtunity to advertise as the key market (i think) would be young/middle aged men!

The team play in the Bury and District League and play in the Suffolk Sunday Cup. Details of our team (Walsham le Willows) can be found here http://www.bdsfl.f9.co.uk/

Anybody interested please feel free to email with any questions.

kind regards,

Ben

LOL

well im open for negotiation i guess! Although the problem there being is we could do with the kit quite soon for our (touchwood) cup run. The league also wouldn't let us change our colours mid season.

The current kit is a mess with people wearing odd socks etc, its emabarassing turning up to these county cup games where the other team have tracksuits, teambuses and god knows what else.

Theres an idea, if someone fancies buying us a bus id be thankful Smiley

I'm guessing fans at these games are generally family and friends?  Not including players, how many people on average will see the shirt and logo?

Advertisers need value for money.  As exposure from this level of football is likely to be very low, where can ad advertiser expect to recoup his £250?  Who else plays online poker apart from yourself?

We have around anywhere between 20-50 spectators at our games, These dont tend to be families, usually pub regulars.

The reason i asked was i see that USA Poker have now started sponsoring Pub Poker leagues across the country. Nearly all Sunday football teams are 'Pub' teams.

We play 9 other teams per season in the league. Thats 9 sets of 15 players = 135 people from the desired target range.

Lets say an average of 20 potential poker players as spectators per game, including away fans = 180 from the desired target range.

We also play in 3 different cups, County Cup, Division 1 cup and the League cup. Id say we will probably play around 9 cup games this season, thats another load of spectators plus the county cup games we travel so thats spreads the name to another area.

So let me put these (estimated figures) into perspective. We will be seen by around 500 people per season in the kit.

Realistically around 5% of these will sign up. I think £250 rake can quite quickly be generated by around 25 people.

Regarding your quesdtion about me being the only player in the team. The team are all good mates and have a weekly recreational homegame usually with 6-8 players. None of these lads play online either so i think that would also be a good oppurtunity to get them into online poker.

I hope i have answered your questions

GOOD LUCK BEN , i KNOW WALSHAM WELL!!!!!!

I used to play for Haverhill Rovers, and played a little bit at Bury Town. If only I was as fit as I would like I may well have asked for a game.
