NO DEAL
I'm not sure how they can strike a deal here. With the chip lead, Roland won't want to take much less than 1st prize whilst the other two know how easy it is to get back into the game and won't be interested in taking home lowly sums. Something like 450k for Roland is the only sort of figure I can see them accepting. If Roland doubles up either of his opponents, he'll be even in chips. Just one coinflip away, it can change so easily in poker as we know, so I'd say that if Roland can get something in the Four hundreds then he's doing well. Having said that, I'm just a simpleton...

450 is the minimum i can see his taking to. I would imagine negotiations may go something like this roland" I will take 1st and u2 can do what u like with the rest"

Roland -- 2.4 mil William -- 800k David -- 720k
Roland has taken about €400k, the other two have about €300k each and there's around €60k being played for.

They're still playing 'proper' poker here. Obviosuly the title is still very important to the three remaining players.

PokerStars qualifier David 'Davethebest' Tavernier nearly didn't even make it to Dublin. He missed his first flight by 5 minutes and his second flight was cancelled. He finally sat down at the Regency 90 minutes late. However, the late start doesn’t seem to have harmed his play and the same thing happened to Patrick Antonius who won in Baden last year. Anaesthetist David, 50, has been playing poker for over 30 years - online, in home games and the occasional tournament. Married with four children, he lives in Paris and is a regular on PokerStars.

All three players see an 8-7-Ad Flop. William bets 80k on the Kd Turn, Roland calls. William also bets the 3d River, Roland folds instantly.

This has been an excellent tournament. The ultra strong hand driers in the toilets have tipped it for me.

The crazily drunk Irishman who helped us get home at 3am on the first night is my highlight.

Lots of raising and passing now... William is slowly rebuilding his stack, and it's slowing to a crawl. Greg Raymer is coming over to do announcing duties.
Snoopy doesn't like William. "He even passes arrogantly..."

Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery sloooooooooooooooooooow
Last two hands:
Flop = 3s-4h-6s, Turn = Kd, River = Ah, checked to River where William bet and Roland folded.
Flop = 7d-6s-Ad, Turn = As, River = 9d, checked to River where Roland bet and David called. Roland mucked straight away, David took the pot with a 9.

Greg Raymer doing the announcing will make a nice change. I was getting a bit fed up of TK's
"Woland waises on the wiver"
