Dear Snoppy & Floppy,

of all the updates that we have had on blonde, this has to be, IMO, the best yet.

Absolutely fantastic stuff.... RESPECT to you both.

Just found out that Gavin Simms, the chap who finished in 4th spot, is actually a blondeite.

Wooooo.

A big congrats to that man!

I didn't realise we had ANOTHER blondepoker member on the final table.

What a result.

The dealer and Roland are mesmerized by David's hands pretending to be a bird.

Hi, this is Gavin Simms here. Snoopy says I should say hello (after we shared a few PM's). Not quite sure what a Blondeite is (guessing it's something to do with Dave Colclough, who was on my right for a bit on day 1b...??)

The A77 flop was unfortunate, because William had didn't hit any of it (he had KQ or KJ). I had A7c ... so dream flop...

I couldn't raise because I hoped Roland would have a hand and would raise behind me ...

Once he folded and William checked gthe turn that was it I thought. No more money to be had.

Was a lot of fun, but definitely much more luck than skill in tourneys than cash, which is probably how a fish like me gets to do well once in a while.

And it's over!!!!

In a raised pot preflop.

Both players check an flop.

Turn:

Roland bet 70k, David thought for a bit and raised to 250k. Roland dwelt and then called.

River:

Roland bet 250k and David moved all-in. Roland called.

David had for a bluff but Roland held for trip fives meaning that...

David Tavernier is our 2nd place finisher officially winning €314,120 which means...

ROLAND DE WOLFE IS THE EPT DUBLIN WINNER OF 2006 OFFICIALLY WINNING €554,300

Congratulations to Roland who picked up chips all the way through the tournament and rarely looked in trouble. Also well played to David who played a very good final table moving up the places quietly, indeed, Roland said to him he would have had to pass an Ace on the river to his bluff. Well done also to Gavin, Nick and Rob, the other blondes on the table and the rest of the finalists. Snoopy is just about to upload a few pictures.

Welcome to blonde, Gavin and well played!

A blondeite is a member of the blonde community. Roland de Wolfe, Nick Slade, Rob Yong and your good self are all members of the forum, so it was great to see you all make the final table.

Top job!  thumbs up
