I flip he flips I moved to the table 4hrs into a £10 rebuy tonight, the rulling was given to split the pot but no appology was given and after a little moan by myself I was told i should have checked the deck when arriving at the table!! I moved to the table during the game! From a casino I found this pathetic.. Discuss....

Jumper, ae you going to the same deranged casino cardroom as ifm? Some wacky rulings/hands a poppin up.
The answer IS to split the pot. Once the deck is realized to be fouled (after showdown in this case) it will have never have existed. You shouldnt split the pot with just the other flush. ALL parties including blinds and antes should get their chips back and a new deck installed.

I agree with the casino, I reckon it's your fault for not checking the deck on arrival.
Shame on you.

That was my thought but the current supervisor (clearly not given correct training) just wanted it resolved so I let it move on. Unfortunatly I see it as a casino staffing attitude as the problem not the staff themselves. Heres a quote I got in the same casino some monthes back: I referred to a rule on the board; 'Yeh, but we dont use those rules'

I read that as 'same casino cardroom as deranged ifm' and thought that's harsh... But fair...
