Jen has doubled up to around the 25k mark with A-K vs J-J on an K-K-x-x board.

Righty then - I have somehow reached the end of Day One with below average (22k) but not on that tense wire between all-in and all out...
I can't tell you how little I enjoy being on the TV table. The bright side is - only one hour of it to be survived tomorrow before some other poor starstruck unfortunates get their go to pose in shades (not really talking about Marcel, with whom it is quite fascinating to play).
Er.. never got above the radar chipstackwise, but a handy under the gun AK in the closing level turned out rather nicely - a flop of K K x and a big blind caller. B.B (Christian Grundtvig, I think) checked his JJ, so what to do? Bet loads! Call, and check-raise the 8 turn which doubled me up and took a little of the misery out of the end of the day.
Having said that, I love this tournament, and all it stands for (ludicrously long levels, competent managing, chips that make a nice sound and stack well). Huge thanks to Peter, and I hope I am fully conscious tomorrow to do his crossed fingers justice.
Yours,
Lucky Fish

And Snoopy, You Are A Golden GOD! (Hope I don't need to be standing on the roof about to jump in a pool to give that the emphasis it deserves).

Snoopy won't let himself be dragged to the bar. Unreasonable - I just want to reward him with beer (or a three course meal or whatever the hell he wants).
Well, going to go for 15 minutes anyway as I've drunk about 5 red bulls - must calm self and go to bed within an hour.
Night night.

Wow, how spiffing for Jen - big thanks to Peter Roche for that, & Jen, just enjoy!
But one mans meat is another mans poison, & poor snoops drew the short straw today. Well done snoopy, thank you, & your turn will come.

No overnight chipcount list I'm afraid, but I do know there are 155 players left.
Will sort out a chip count first thing tomorrow when plays recommences at 2pm.
Until then, toodle pip.
