He lost his 8,500 stack with Queens versus Ace King, all-in pre-flop, King on the Turn.

Reigning champion, Thomas Middelthon, is starting to struggle. He was on 22k at one point, but has since dropped down to 11.
I just saw him fold deuces to a MB bet on a board of
Mateyboy showed a 5.

Board =
Martin Wendt checks, MB bets 1.9k and Martin makes it 10k to play. MB folds.
After being down to just several thousand at one point, Martin is now running strong with just under 20k. Worth a punt perhaps?

Nick Slade was forced to throw away Kings on a Queen high Flop, justfiably too as his opponent showed Aces.
Pre-flop, Nick had raised, been re-raised and then smooth called. MB moved in on him when Nick bet the flop. Nick then made a good fold.
He's now on 7,200

The late nights, too much smoking, all that beer... Matt Tyler could take it all, but when it came to handling the Paul Parker chat, he simply wilted under the pressure.

Whatever you think of Nick Slade, he sure is good entertainment.
Nick raised to 550 pre-flop before Card Player Europe editor and former Dutch champion, Rolf Slotboom (pictured below) raised Nick all-in from the big blind... for an extra 8k (!!!)
Nick passed but thought Rolf was taking the piss a bit and declared, "If you do that again I''m calling you with any 2 cards, even if it's 2-3."
"You should go back to reporting," he added, "That was a silly bet."

Whenever I need to find out who's been eliminated, I always take a quick glance at the cash games, and one of the biggest ones on the go has two familiar faces rifling their chips: John Kabbaj and Marcus Golser, which therefore leads me to believe that they are surely OUT of the main comp.
Bizarrely, that room is called the Cercle Privee, which must mean something like Private Ring - Insert your own joke there, actually nobody do any insertion.

He's okay, a slight dry cough but apart from that he's dandy.

I doubt that will be happening any time today, he hasn't played a hand yet.
