ARGENTINA

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

yes congratulations Argentina, beating the world champions of Rugby is a hell of an achievement.

Congratulations must also go to Wales on their impressive 38-20 "demolishion" of the world reknowned Pacific Islanders. A fine performance indeed

1. Andy Robinson is the Glenn Roeder of English rugby. Inherited a side shorn of talent cos of retirements and injuries, hasn't a hope of moulding a cohesive team, and supporters expectations are way too high.

2. English rugby needs to reform, the top players play far too many games....premiership, Heineken cup, Anglo Welsh cup, Autumn Internationals, Six Nations, Summer tours etc. Some 25 internationals are currently long term injured. The physical burdens now players are fitter and bulkier are too great. NFL players play a maximum of 21 games a year. Scottish, Welsh players etc play far fewer games than the English if outside the English league

3. We might as well rip it up, blood kids and build for 2011. Fed up of watching the likes of Corry, Grewcock and Moody....decent premiership rugby players but not quite good enough against the best.

Just watched them lose a 14-3 lead and finish 14-25 against a poor South African side. Surely now it's got to be time for Robinson to go. Let's get some talented youngsters in and set our sights on 2011.

There is no such thing as a poor South African side, banish the thought

Okay I was three days early. Must have been discussing the payoff - even though it appears he resigned.

Who's in?

Rob Andrew
Dean Richards
Or one of the recently retired ex captains?

It'll probably be Rob Andrew, but I'd like to see Martin Johnson in there somewhere.  He'd sort them out...

richards with jonno helping/being groomed

fundamental problem is the system overloads the players and deosn't produce enough talent. We need progress on that to really improve things

Probably been discussed before to the death, but what are people's thoughts on Andy Farrell and him eventually being in the England squad?

As a rugby league fan, he's the best player I've ever seen play live, and think he'll be an asset.  It's a shame he was injured for such a length of time, and the same goes for Wilkinson - England have missed him dearly.

as an inside centre with his power and kicking ability yes, but he is still a rookie. World cup comes too soon. As you say he was injured and then club and country could not agree on his best position. Yet more bad planning that has affected our team
