With just one more player to go until the final, it can only mean one thing...

Mark was a sportsbettor, set up sporting odds many years ago, bought Paradise and then made gazillions from floating the combined company sportingbet plc

The US legislation affected paradise heavily, but make no mistake he was a visionary businessman in the sportsbetting arena long before Paradise came along.

So he bought Paradise made a fortune out of it and if it goes busto he's alright jack? I don't get how all these multi zillionaires couldn't have got together and used some of their money to stop the legislation from going through in the first place.

probably one for another time another thread mate!

Hi Snoops

I think C the sporting odds qualifier.  I reckon you have to be tight as a duck's thingy to become a millionaire so he went for the qualification route!!

Chili is right, but for the wrong reasons.

Contestant C, Mark Blandford, is indeed the millionaire, but not for the reasons Chili stated.

Yes, he's wearing a Sporting Odds shirt, but that's because he's owns the company, not because he's an online qualifier. From what I understand, he also owns Paradise Poker and is one of the pioneers of the explosion of online gaming. Apparantly, he's worth hundreds of millions.

One second, I'm just going to nip off to er.. well, nip him.

Hello Mr Blandford Sir.  Didn't mean to call you tight, obviously was just guessing

Rob Garfield: "Blimey, Lucy got that much? She bluffed off most of her chips in half an hour at the start of the day, made some loose calls and took pot shots at people. Called one guy with Eights, he had Tens. After that she started doing all this all-in stuff, about 4 hands in a row at one point. She crazy, stealing everything on my table now and is in every hand."

That Lucy sounds like a right rock.

Golly, I honestly can't remember now, but I feel like he's become part of the family, like a pet dog or something.
