Hello all.

You may or may not have noticed that I've been away for most of the month.

A few days climbing snowy mountains in Scotland with my Dad and my cousin. A great time, refreshing for the mind and spirit. It would have been more comfortable if I'd foreseen that Scottish mountain tops might be a bit chilly in November...

2 weeks in Cuba on best man duty. 3 days in Havana, followed by 10 days of over indulgence in the company of good friends at an all-inclusive resort. It's not the type of holiday that I'd choose for myself, but it was tremendously enjoyable and the wedding was a great success.

A few days in Dublin for low stakes poker and guiness with an old friend, this is a trip I make quite regularly and it is always good fun.

Now I'm back in front of my PC with a heavier body, a lighter wallet and a disinclination to do anything resembling 'work'.

Expect the pithy, one line post count to return to normal...

Hotel Tryp Peninsula, Varadero, there must be 20-30 hotels there now. The wedding was at Hotel Parasdiso.
