I'm with you Tighty and have put him on set of threes. It was far too early in the comp to risk finding out.

Remember he was facing a bet and your raise before pushing so had to be uber confident (or stupid!)

He showed me one card when I passed. A three.

If you can remember, did he look at both his cards and show a 3 or did just pick up one of the cards and show it?

If the latter it was prob 333.  If he looked at his cards, and had 2 pr he would be more likely to show the higher card.

i'll try and remember next time to see if he has to check both cards before he shows one as an indicator of set or two pair!

What do you all do if he ships it in then shows the 3 while you are thinking?

Tough pass, but I think it is probably right to. With your raise, you asked him a strong question and he answered you.

My guess is that it is probably 50/50 on whether you are ahead. This means that 50% of the time you are playing 10k and still have a full field to negotiate, only you know how much that will improve your chances of cashing/winning, but my guess is probably no more than 20%. The other 50% (unless you get lucky and hit one of your 4 outs) then you are eliminated and chances of success are 0%.

Good solid pass imo (although I am a donk who would probably not have believed him and soon been sat on the rail - I never believe anyone!)
