11:20 is the repeat of the last episode of "This Life".
This has the best end to a TV show ever.

An honourable mention also needs to go to Blackadder IV as well.
Any other classic final scenes?

I liked the end of Quantum Leap, where the voiceover tells us that Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home. I also liked Deal or no Deal where we get to see who the banker is and it turns out it's Mr Blobby.

This life was quality, I cant believe that was 10 years ago !! That smack Millie gave Rachel was proper quality , and warren coming back in the middle of the ruck was genius .... BUT............. The best ever ending to a TV series has to be the last episode of "Our friends in the north" As geordie is looking down at his friends laughing and getting on, Oasis's "Dont look back in anger" blares out ..... such a fitting track to end a superb drama series, not a dry eye in the house.

Our friends in the noth was great, what happened to quality drama on the BBC.
Also a 1 off called you me and marley about Joyriders taking on the IRA. The ending was fantastic, but came true several months later so i doubt it will be shown again ever.

Blackadder for me..
although I have to say I loved the ending of Twin Peaks...not because it was soo good but because it 's the ending of that horrible waste of time of a show.

I liked the ending to the first series of Murder One.
Also the original ending to Only Fools And Horses, when they finally got rich from the watch auction, was fantastic but was subsequently ruined by them resurrecting the series a few years later.
Can't wait for This Life +10 to air this month!

I have to say I hated the ending of Blackadder. Here was a show which was tremendously funny all the way through, then copped out at the end by going for tugging the heartstrings instead of jokes. It's difficult to be funny, but easy to emotionally blackmail the viewer. This sort of thing has permeated through everything else Richard Curtis has touched since. As for Twin Peaks, if you hated it so much, why did you watch till the end? Oddly enough, the final episode of Twin Peaks was a bit cobbled together as the series was cancelled at short notice. Same with The Prisoner.

How about worst ending to a TV series? So far the outstanding candidates are:
Lost - Series 1 Lost - Series 2
I suspect that Lost - Series 3 will be equally frustrating, so much so that I'll once again be salivating for the start of Series 4 (there's a quote in the Series 1 DVD extras that when the show was conceived there was 7 Series worth of plot, so rinse and repeat this statement upto Series 6!)
