When you click on the ip symbol on each post it says this -
"Your IP address is shown only to you and moderators. Remember that this information is not identifying, and that most IPs change periodically.
You cannot see other members' IP addresses, and they cannot see yours."
Kev is Staff not a moderator, so maybe the moderators can see ips?
Anyway i wouldnt worry about it.

Two ways why it was obvious James.
Firstly you have a very unique way of writing, it was instantly obvious to me that it was you posting under a false name to try and get a reaction.
Secondly, now i don't know if they even bothered to check this but usually admin on P4C can see where about in the country you are, if they did this then that would be a big hint too!
Seriously though sir, it would be very hard for you to post without the whole world knowing its you, the way you write.
P.S. Why did you go on there with the intent of shit stirring? Why did you not want to do it under your own name?

i know that this would have been the answer i was given if i put my own name on there and it would have been deleted,as to knowing my area fair enough but ,,surley your dying to know what has happened as now nobody from there answers and they may think it might just go away ok.
and you dont have to call me sir.
flushy , nor did anyone else see the question that i asked 3 days ago,as it was deleted as i watched and there were only 2 people on line at the time, written in capitals and so that no-body could see it was me,it was on there for 5 mins.

Anyone with half a brain would've realised it was you sofa.
Flushie just demonstrated that.
If you want your posts to become more anonymous for whatever reason, here's a couple of points.
Commas are not birds of a feather who like to flock together. In most cases, commas like to be used individually rather than grouped together in bunches of fours. They are mavericks who strike out alone, much like Jan Michael Vincent in Airwolf.
Full stops likewise, although using a group of full stops is a grammatical device to create an emphasised pause at the end of a sentence or sometimes to elide text.
When you use a group of full stops though, this doesn't mean you should plunder them like a pirate from the rest of your paragraph, leaving your post as one complete unbroken sentence (apart from the huddled gangs of commas) Scatter the full stops around a bit, let them run free. Give readers a chance to breathe.
This is not a post from the grammar police, just a few friendly pointers in case you want to post anonymously in future. I find most of your posts funny.
Have fun good postings!

James i did see that post.
My point is if you come on as a new poster onto P4C asking a question like that its quite clear you are from somewhere else, we don't need Sherlock Holmes to figure its you.
If you had just come on as Sofa-King you would, i am sure, have received a reply.
There was a problem about a year back with people creating accounts on there and accusing Angie and Davey of some very sick disturbing things, as such they are not to keen when they see a brand new poster coming out with an odd first post.
My point is you could just go on there as Sofa King and ask, there is no need to do it hidden behind a fake name.

james i find it hard to belive you seen that post it was on for a maximum of 5 min and there was only 2 users on line at that time,if you did then ok thats good enough, but please dont say you could tell it was me, it could have been anyone of the people from this site who is having trouble coming to terms with what they are learning about p4c.
