I am not an expert on Vegas by any means, I went for the first time this year and I'm going back in March. However, I'm reasonably good at searching out a good deal

, so here is my advice -
- If you are flying with Virgin Atlantic, then join the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club before you book the flight. You will then get 5k+ Air Miles for every full price return fare you book... these can be used for discounted flights in the future.
- The cheapest fares with Virgin Atlantic are non-changeble, once booked there are no refunds and no amendments... so get travel insurance straight away.
- It's not always cheaper to try and find a room once you are there. For example... Not Vegas I know but, I recently stayed at a hotel in Brighton, their internet reservation price was £64... the guy checking-in in front of me, without a reservation, paid £109!!
- So that you know you have somewhere to stay... Book a hotel that suits your budget before you go, direct via their website. You will only have to pay one night's deposit by credit card and you can cancel anytime upto 1 or 2 days before arrival with no penalty (check exact terms with hotel), they will refund the deposit and you will only loose a couple of £s in exchange rate fees.
- A few days before you leave check out the hotel websites for prices for the following week, you might be suprised how cheap they are letting the rooms go for. eg. Harrah's 'Hot Deals' -
